Our Services
We offer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training for adults and youth, including group classes, private lessons, trial classes and introductory programs, and memberships. Class schedules, programs, and availability may change. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate schedule changes in advance.
Trial Classes & Memberships
Trial offers are available to new students as described at signup and may be limited to one per person. Memberships are billed according to the plan you select at signup. Memberships are non-transferable. Trial fees are non-refundable.
Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a contact sport that carries an inherent risk of injury, including sprains, strains, bruises, and more serious injuries. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and confirm you are physically able to train. Consult a physician before beginning any new exercise program. You participate at your own risk. Students are expected to train responsibly, tap early and often, and respect the safety of their training partners.
Code of Conduct
Students are expected to treat instructors, training partners, and staff with respect, maintain proper hygiene including clean training gear, and follow all gym rules and instructor directions. We reserve the right to refuse service or revoke a membership for unsafe or disrespectful behavior, without refund.
Minors
Our youth programs are intended to be arranged by parents and legal guardians. Students under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete registration and consent on their behalf. A parent or guardian must be present or reachable during a minor's class.
Text Messaging (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, Curtis Mateus Brazilian Jiu Jitsu may contact you by text message about your inquiry, trial class, membership options, schedule, or related gym services. Payments
If you make a payment through a third-party payment processor, your payment information is handled by that payment provider. Curtis Mateus Brazilian Jiu Jitsu does not store full credit card numbers or banking information unless otherwise stated by the payment processor.
Cancellations
To cancel a membership, contact us before your next billing date. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Trial fees are non-refundable.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Curtis Mateus Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, its owners, instructors, and staff are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in our programs, except where caused by gross negligence.
